Skin is more sensitive to touch and product application due to the micro channels, for up to 3 days.  It's not major and you will not be uncomfortable.

A few days later skin may be a little dehydrated due to the surface breaking up and sloughing off (a good & expected transient side effect). 

All you need to do is use a hydrating mask to get through that 1-2 days, then your skin result will show.

If you have a light skin tone (what we call Fitzpatrick 1 to 2) we use a 532 nm wavelength of laser.

If you have a deeper skin tone (what we call a Fitzpatrick 3-5) we use a 1064 wavelength laser.
 
The laser wavelength uses light energy delivered super gently to break up melanin (brown pigment/colour) in the skin.  

If you have pigmentation that seems stubborn or hard to move, this is for you.

This depends on the level of pigmentation you have, how compliant you are with your homecare, but all clients will need a minimum of several treatments to see a result.

 The laser is working deep into the skin to correct a dysfunction in the way your pigmentation is produced and distributed.  This takes time and re-education to correct. 

 We prefer conservative, safer treatment over aggressive, once-off sessions that respect the skin health and allow it to re-program long-term. 

 Plan for 3 or more treatments. 

None.  You may feel a little prickling for a few hours after the appointment. 

Skin pigment (brown colour) will be darker as we have pulled it up closer to the skin surface. 
Over the coming 2 weeks this pigment will continue to rise before eventually sloughing off naturally.

During this time you may see a sprinkling of what looks like milo on your skin.  It's important that you don't scrub it off, underneath is brand new tissue that is not yet fully formed. Removing it prematurely can cause micro-scars and undo any benefits of having had the treatment.

After 2 weeks the skin will have finished this process of sloughing off and you'll see clearer tone.

Elos uses intense pulsed light, otherwise called IPL or photo rejuvenation.

Ulfit is a TGA approved device that uses macro-focused ultrasound to pulse energy into specific points in the tissue.

 It is special compared to other technology because it is able to bypass all other tissue on the way down to it's target location in the skin, causing no harm on the way down and only treating where it intends to treat.

Ulfit treatment features several applicators that treat precisely at different depths: one for the fat pads we don't want eg. the pocket under the chin.  Another treats the fascia, the tight structural tissue holding your face UP.
